He started his career as a production manager making documentary films, and is now an award winning producer. His production company, Ruby Entertainment, has a massive slate of projects on the boil, including an upcoming Fresh Blood production called Leftovers, which you’ll be able to see on ABC iView later in 2017.

The inaugural AFLW season has it's Grand Final this Saturday, 25th of March, between Brisbane and Adelaide. The chat cave was lucky enough to welcome one of the stars of Collingwood Football Club, Lou Wotton. Lou had actually retired from playing aussie rules football to pursue a career as a triathlon athlete. But the temptations of playing football at a professional level, a concept she thought she’d never see in her lifetime, lured her back.

Bokanté is the new band from Grammy Award winning musician, Michael League (Snarky Puppy), fronted by Malika Tirolien. Growing up in the Caribbean, Malika made the move to Montreal at the age of 18 in pursuit of a career as a singer. While supporting Snarky Puppy, she met Michael League. Flash forward a few years, and Bokante is born. Bokanté – meaning ‘exchange’ in Creole – is eight outstanding musicians from four continents. Their debut album, Strange Circles, goes from a Zeppelin-esque blues stomp to folkloric Caribbean kaladja. Lyrically, it reflects struggles we all face, and what Bokanté wants to see in the world – connection, unity and love through exchange. And now, they’re taking that sound around the world. He releases new, original material every month, and regularly has his music featured in film & tv shows. Since he is one of my favourite musicians, I was pretty humbled when he agreed to be on my show, and talk about what makes him silly.
